Beckenbauer Blasts English, Favors Germany

BBC Sport reports Franz Beckenbauer is apparently uber upset with England’s style of play against the USA. Instead of moving forward with quality play that is always expected of England he says they are in reverse.
"It looked to me as if the English have gone backwards into the bad old days of kick and rush."
He wasn’t shy to talk about Germany’s drubbing of Australia on Sunday either and had a strong, but formidable statement for the rest of the teams.
"We're going to blow you all away"
His theory for England’s lack of flare is that they do not have enough players in their domestic league and because they didn’t get enough time with the Jubulani ball. England do in fact have a disadvantage with that ball. France, Germany, and Argentina have been using the ball in domestic play since February. You think England would be on that, not sure what was going through the minds of the executives.

Surely he would love to see England get that two spot in group C so he sit back and enjoy that pint.
