Stamford Bridge - London, England
Home to Chelsea FC
I had some extra time in the day and after getting lost a few times I managed to find my way to Stamford Bridge. It just happened to be during a Champions League match against Barcelona!
Really nice stadium.
Here is a shot with me in it.
I made my way through the megastore and I didn't even get anything...what the crap.
Some scarves being sold outside the grounds. A guy was trying to get me to buy tickets for 250 pounds...sorry man, I would rather spend 30 pounds and get belligerent at a pub.
Then I came across this man. If your not familiar, his name is Jason Marriner and is a member of the notorious Chelsea Headhunters. He was a really nice guy and despite me almost crapping my pants I got his autograph. I'm also glad he didn't see the other side of my backpack because of the Liverpool patch on one of the pockets.

Allianz Arena - Munich, Germany
Home to Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich
My friend Jared and I went looking for the arena one night during our stay in Munich. At the time his dad was an executive for Allianz in Minneapolis so he was trying to get tickets to a match...mission unsuccessful.
Here is a shot farther away near the metro station. The stadium changes colors for whoever is playing that day/night; red for Bayern Munich, blue for 1860 Munich, and white for the national team.
Barlcay's Premier League
Fulham FC vs. Charlton Athletic FC
October 16, 2006
Crew setting things up before the match. This was my first Premier League match.
Craven Cottage
Craven Cottage. What a great building.
Look at the Putney end (visitors).
I wanted to run up on there so bad.
Some friends that joined me.
Shot of the The Pavilion. That is the oldest stand in football, it dates back to 1905.
View from the crowd behind us.
Charlton fans filling in.
The former Captain America Brian McBride! He netted one that night.
The streets afterwards outside the Cottage.
Carling Cup
Newcastle vs. Portsmouth
October 25, 2006
View from my seats inside St. James' Park. I went to this match with a dozen of my classmates. It's about a half hour drive south from Alnwick.
It was a rainy night.
Walked around the park and got this shot from the upper level.
Freekick for the Magpies. No luck on this one though.
View of supporters holding up their shoes. I forget why they were doing this.

First thing I saw after climbing out of the cab...electric.

Statue of Shankly outside the Kop
Inside The Albert. Scarves from teams all over the world. Great atmosphere, people singing throughout the place. Everyone was knocking back Budweiser...which had Premier League logos on the label.
Nice guy I met. How about those two guys behind us...
My buddy Jared. We took the train from Alnwick where we studied to Liverpool at 7am. He's a Man U guy...but he kept that too himself.
The view from my seats in the Kop. Amazing.
Celebration after Stevie G's thunderbolt from 25 out...Kop end...madness!
Scoreline at the end of the match.
The Kop cheering on Anfield's finest.

After spending the morning at The Albert, I wasn't in the best singing shape...but here are a few videos.
Me doing my best intoxicated version YNWA from the KOP end.
Excuse my state of mind and my sad attempt to sing a Stevie G song...oh boy
